Wish Disney would remake this movie, I still loved the story from when I was a kid. And the secrets of the Strwberry Cove, The stories are great to see, kids would eat them up. Kid adventure stories on a kid level are neat still.

My favorite of this was something not in the episodes. I remember the network running one of those "More you know" type ads with it. They have some random crew member recommend to Kirk that the crew needs to exercise and eat right. So Kirk orders that the crew will work out at least once a week. Even at the young age of 7 I thought this odd after seeing all the movies about soldiers in boot camp and seeing as the Enterprise is a military ship I would think they would be doing that in the first place. Filmation Star Fleet is a random organization.

The interesting thing about this series is a lot of it was voiced by the original actors, they must have been desperate for work at the time.

I'm watching this as I type.

The long musical montages and lackluster acting are painful. The music reminds me of the kind you'd hear while watching some really sinister things go down on an episode of "Matlock." I hate xylophones and saxophones now. Those "stick" instruments, too.

They put a lot of effort into filming every single put up and take down of the carnival itself, as well as action-packed, riveting things like.... walking by the camera. The lead actress looks directly into the camera quite a bit. I feel like I'm supposed to be in on something. And I don't know why she insists on calling the carnies "freaks." To me they just look like people from the 1960s.

The final scene is just sad, especially with the quote from the bible flashed up on teh screen. WTF?

This is the precursor to "Showgirls."

Its a long time since I saw this movie, but I seem to remember that the last scene involves Lana and Jason reaffirming their mutual love, and then we see th4e light go out in their bedroom window. In Hollywood, a shot like that symbolizes sexual intercourse, so I figured Jason had been magically cured of his impotence. Thank you, Efrem Zimbalist Jr !

I happen to like the film. It is a classic black and white B film and all B films are in a class all their own. They don't have to be an Oscar-winning film to be enjoyable! Someone should bring back "Creature Features" so we can enjoy all these B films again!!!!!
